Marine Project Manager

THUNDERBOLT MARINE INC. is accepting applications for a full-time
Marine Project Manager. Thunderbolt Marine Inc. is a full service refit and repair facility dedicated to delivering the highest standards and exceeding the expectations of clientele with vessels of all sizes. Conveniently located on the Wilmington River in Thunderbolt, Georgia.

Summary: The qualified candidate for this position must have a proven track record with a minimum of three years of project management within the marine industry. As the project manager you will be the main point of contact with the customers and liaison with the company senior management team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
*Project planning and execution of the schedule, requirements configuration, risk, changes, health, safety and security in compliance with the agreed upon customer and company standards and requirements.
*Responsible for the delivery of projects in line with the agreed upon timescale, budget and quality objectives, working within the defined project framework and procedures.
*Ensures the project requirements and tasks are correctly interpreted, planned, resourced and delivered.
*Manage yacht repair and refit from estimating through final testing, completion and invoicing.
*Coordinate all customer communications and requirements.
*Coordinate activities between shops, subcontractors and local & international suppliers.
*Assess and resolve problem areas that would affect the delivery schedule.
*Cooperate with regulatory bodies to ensure that building standards are
consistent with maritime requirements.
*Exercise budgetary control and report monthly progress and expenditures.
*Monitor deviations from contractual obligations and propose change orders to owners.
*Conduct periodic progress meetings.
