Up for Sale is my beautiful 43ft 1930 John Alden Ketch #455 named Rohirrim. Launched in summer of last year after a refit and repairs, it was sailed down form Seal Cove, Maine to Essex, Maryland in August. A beautiful blend of modern comfort with the beauty of the 30s. Comes with radar, GPS, and long range VHF radio. Motor is a new install in 2017 with less than 500 hours on it. Spars are spruce but enamel covered for easy of care. Can comfortably sleep 4 and accommodate 6 for day sails. I’ve travelled 11 days aboard without any issue or hassles. She is in the water and will be available for test sails when the water returns to the bay.
