The top-selling Hatteras yacht in her class during her production years (over 50 were built), the Hatteras 70 Cockpit Motor Yacht remains among the most sought after used cockpit yachts on the market. In most respects,  This Hatteras was build as a 70′  factory Cockpit Motor Yacht with cockpit . With a wide 18’6″ beam, the Hatteras 70 is a very spacious yacht. The top deck boasts a huge salon, home size galley and Beautiful Italian marble  dinette and island bar and an enclosed pilothouse with deck doors and flybridge access stairs. Originally offered with a corridor separating walk-in enginerooms, in 1989 Hatteras engineers redesigned the layout to include a full-beam engineroom separating the master suite from the guest staterooms forward. The master stateroom, accessed from a salon stairway beginning in 1989, features a centerline king bed, walk-in cedar line closet, and en-suite head with whirlpool tub and shower. Forward of the engineroom, with access stairs from the pilothouse, are separate generate room  three staterooms, each with a private cedar line closets head and shower. The cockpit has lazarette storage and a transom door. Detroit 1050 hp 12V92 engines cruise knots. 1,050 hp 12V92 diesels cruise at 18/20 knots

Vessel received a refit during the 2006-2008 years, with rebuilt engines/generator. Interior has constantly been upgraded with new countertops, galley, salon and the exterior was completely repainted. The vessel showed to be well maintained, with evidence of constant upkeep and maintenance
