20th Century Ships Telegraph

This early 20th Century BlockTube Ships Telegraph is in wonderful condition for it’s age. BlockTube Trade Mark Type B55, Serial Number 372 which is extremely low in manufacture.
I purchased it in England from a Canadian collector in 1979. He claimed that it was used on a Ferry sailing from England to the Isle Of Man.
It adorned our games room joining many nautical treasures.
In 1985 we immigrated to the United States, and it has been a talking point in several of our homes, positions inside our front door to welcome guests.
THEY COULD NOT RESIST CRANKING THE LEVER TO HEAR THE INSTRUCTION SOUNDS WITHIN!!
I am sad to see it go, but I know it will ad to a wonderful collectors’ collection!!
It rests on a beautifully varnished base measuring 24x18x2 1/2″thick also early 20th Century.
