ONE DAY CONNECTICUT BOAT AND JET SKI LICENSE CLASSES

There are two types of boating licenses in CT, a Safe Boating Certificate (SBC) and a Certificate of Personal Watercraft Operation (CPWO).  The Safe Boating Certificate will allow you to operate Boats only.  The Certificate of Personal Watercraft Operation will allow you to operate Boats and “Jet Skis”.  In addition, if you want to operate a boat towing a water-skier you also need a Safe Waterskiing Endorsement.

​To qualify for your Boating Certificates you need to attend a CT approved Safe Boating & Personal Watercraft class and pass the CT Exam.  Our course will qualify you for your Safe Boating and PWC Certificates, as well as the Safe Waterskiing Endorsement.  All classes are eight hours, including the CT Exam.  After passing the test, students can go online and print their license.  Connecticut does not accept online classes to qualify for Boating Certificates.
