Record attendance at Danish boat / 2017 Fredericia Boat Show

**the 2017 Fredericia Boat Show attracted 31.553, up 7% compared to the last edition held in 2015**

Organisers of Denmark Fredericia Boat Show 2017 have reported that the event drew to a close with a record attendance of 31.553 visitors during the two weekends the show was opened. This footfall is 7% up compared with its previous edition of 2015. This year’s show was held from 24-26 February.

Since the closing of the boat show in Copenhagen, the Fredericia show, on the East coast of Jutland, is the only mayor boat show in Denmark.

“Were very happy with the positive numbers of visitors. It also very important that the visitors have shown interest in buying boats and equipment. The Boat Show 2017 reveals very clearly that the boating business in Denmark really has come out from the bad times, Lars S¸ndergaard, show manager at MESSE C Fredericia told online newspaper minbaad.dk.

Jan Hansen, chairman of Danboat, concurs. He told the paper: “It has been two uplifting weekends. I havent heard anything else than positive reports from our members and colleagues and it a very good signal with the many visitors.
