Built in 1936 by Mantoloking Boat and Engine company by David Beaton.
Designed by Fenwick Williams under John Alden’s Shingle.  The entire build was managed by Fenwick Williams, making multiple trips from Boston to NJ to oversee the construction and adherence to design criteria.

The sail plan was drawn by Carl Alberg, along with Aage Neilson at the Alden firm.  Original Spars were hollow and built by Beaton.  My restoration is completed with new spars duplicating the original details from the butt end to the masthead. All spars are built in 2021, Sitka Spruce and built by Myles Thurlogh Rigging, Martha’s Vineyard MA.

She was twice featured in “The Rudder magazine as well as the Rudder publication “My new Boat”

Elliot White is captured in the Morris Rosenfeld Photo library, and we have several of the prints that we obtained from Mystic Seaport Museum.
