1990 SEA RAY SUNDANCER 40′ CLASS EXPRESS CRUSIER

A known Customized Classic 1990 styling Sea Ray Sundancer on Lake Allatoona, in Northwest Georgia, “Knot Too Badd” has been re-modeled inside and out, updated, and truly a one of a kind Sundancer. Originally a 1990 Sea Ray 350 (same as a 370 in 1992) Sundancer Express Style Cruiser. Boat rebadged as a 400 Sundancer. New Sea Ray graphics, new bottom stripes (green and gold). Hull is Sea Ray Artic white color and bottom paint is Interluc CSC Micron Black. Complete bottom hull reconditioining and recoating in Winter of 2015.

All canvas and trim is heavy material and green in color. Alleisenglass windows are clear and in exc ell ent condition. Canvas package included is full camper canvas enclosure, half back sloped to stern from radar arch enclosure, mooring cover, various hatch covers, windless cover and helm cover. Included is a large white front bow swim pad. Good Automatic Windless with 200 feet of color coded by depth rope (windless and rope both replaced 5 years ago). Has bright finish polished stainless-steel anchor. She is powered by Twin GM Big Block 454/7.4 L 330 HP each Mercrusier gasoline fueled Bluewater Engines (approximately 1275 hours on each) coupled with Hurth V-Drive (Velvet smooth)  Inboard Transmissions, stainless-steel drive shafts with Nibral propellers.

Main engines are 330 HP each with closed cooling systems & heat exchangers (uses antifreeze-no need for winterizing). Explosion proof automatic bilge area heater. AC power is provided by a 7.5 KW Quicksilver Marine Generator (approximately 1300 +/- hours on engines). There are two separate updated “Crusair” marine reverse cycle heat/cooling air conditioning systems with upgraded digital controls with hand held remote control. A custom made “Swim Platforms.com” 36” long extended swim platform with concealed retractable stainless-steel telescoping ladder was added. A new port side transom door cut-in (looks factory) for straight in access to the lower salon area.

Aft deck seating reconfigured with custom made sink and cabinet with Corian countertop. New upholstery and carpets throughout aft deck area and the lower cabin salon areas. An impressive 2800-watt sound system with Clarion Marine head unit (AM/FM/CD player/Bluetooth/Ipad coonectivity) matched with three Pioneer Marine amplifiers (three of them), Pioneer Sub-woofer enclosure and 8 each, custom made enclosures 8″ diameter Pioneer Coaxial Marine Speakers. Head unit has handheld remote control and “wet” remote control added at starboard aft area at swim platform. Twin teak flagpoles fly the United States of America flag and the Power “T” of the University of Tennessee on the aft stern.

The Original Furuno marine radar is fully operational. Upgraded helm station has separate digital speed and depth gauges. Explosive gas fume warning system. New Marine VHF radio. Engine synchronizer indicator. Additional 12-volt accessory connections on dash panels. Engine compartment automatic Halon fire suppression system. Interior cabin areas completely remodeled. New custom made cherry galley cabinets with Corian countertops, new composite galley sink with brushed stainless- finish, new refrigerator, new microwave, new built in coffee station, all interior hard surface wall panels upgraded to real cherry wood finishes. New interior carpet and upholstery. Aft cabin has memory foam queen size mattress. Forward V-Berth has custom shaped thick conventional style mattress. Flat panel TV and DVD system upgraded. All lighting replaced and upgraded to LED. Under counter lighting in all cabinet areas. Head area has separate lavatory and toilet/shower with folding glass shower door.

Head has two entry doors (one private from V-Berth cabin & one from main salon area). Storage added in accessible cabin entry steps. Concealed trash can receptacle in galley cabinet. Interior tastefully decorated with fabrics, curtains, decorative pillows and cushions. Salon boasts a large U-shaped salon sofa that converts to a bed. Custom updated fabrics, curtains, bedding, pillows, upholstery and carpeting in salon, bath, helm and cockpit areas. Too many upgrades to list.
